Laundry Volunteers

To become a laundry volunteer or donate laundry supplies, please contact volunteer@churchesforsoh.org.

Many forget that without a steady income and a place to live, it can be difficult to clean your clothes. This is why we run the Streets of Hope Laundry Program to help the men we serve stay clean for work & interviews.

With help from generous donations given by volunteers, we provide detergent, bleach, dryer sheets, bags, and accessibility to a local laundromat for anyone in our shelter, as well as anyone who has gone through our program who still cannot afford to do laundry.

Volunteers provide quarters and laundry supplies the first Saturday of the month at a local laundromat for all those who sign up. We appreciate their hard work and dedication to this project.

Looking to donate instead? We can always use: detergent; laundry pods; bleach; laundry bags; and dryer sheets!

OUR CHURCHES & ORGANIZATIONS

Churches for Streets of Hope began with a coalition of area churches who wanted to help our local homeless community. It now includes more than 25 churches plus a number of organizations who participate in our ministry, and we are always looking for more.

Member churches and organizations can attend and vote on essential decisions in our annual meeting held every Spring. Find out how to get your church involved with Streets of Hope by emailing outreach@churchesforsoh.org
