We Help People to Have a Better Life Than Yesterday
Churches for Streets of Hope, a non-profit organization, brings high quality, compassionate care to people experiencing homelessness or who are otherwise in need, by mobilizing the faith community and others in Baltimore County and rekindling hope and aspiration in those we serve as we follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
To make homelessness rare and brief requires a long-term commitment from all community stakeholders. The private sector can play a key role in supporting the creation of permanent supportive housing for the homeless.
Our goal is committed to offering affordable housing solutions, ensuring that everyone has access to safe and stable homes, regardless of their financial situation.
Our goal for meal serving is to alleviate hunger and provide nourishment to those in need, ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry in our community.
Our organization’s goal for the Homeless Response System is to be an effective player along with other agencies, both governmental and private, to pull together resources needed for each individual.
Our organization’s primary goal with shelters is to offer a safe haven for those experiencing homelessness, providing warmth, sustenance, and support to help individuals transition to stable housing.
Our organization’s mission for Employment & Income initiatives is to empower individuals with the resources and skills needed to secure sustainable employment, fostering financial independence and self-sufficiency.
We are committed to achieving race equity by dismantling systemic barriers, advocating for justice, and promoting inclusivity, ensuring that all individuals are treated with fairness and respect.
There are many ways to lend a hand to those in need, here at Churches For Streets Of Hope, and not one is more important than the other. From donating a gently used coat to becoming a monthly donor, it all comes together to give someone in need of help the opportunity to not only survive, but to thrive.
we share the same vision, which is to help brothers around the world
Join Baltimore County Communities for the Homeless (BCCH), on the longest night of the year, as we remember and honor the lives of those who experienced homelessness and passed away in 2023.
