Transportation Volunteer

WHAT IS A TRANSPORTATION VOLUNTEER?

People who can transport, in their own vehicle, either ,a person, or things Some of the instances when transportation for A PERSON or a few needs to be arranged:

- Most of our clients do not have their own transportation, but they still need to go places, like the doctor or a job interview.
- Some of our volunteers are too far away to walk, but they would still like to come and help.
- Events take place that our clients could benefit from attending, and they are far from a bus line.

There are also times when we need to transport THINGS, such as:
- Someone donates something we need, and we just have to go pick it up.
- We are getting rid of something that needs to go to the dump.
- One of our guys is moving into a place and needs to get his belongings there.

If you are interested in helping with transportation – either kind – please contact the Director of Operations at 443-764-4249.

OUR CHURCHES & ORGANIZATIONS

Churches for Streets of Hope began with a coalition of area churches who wanted to help our local homeless community. It now includes more than 25 churches plus a number of organizations who participate in our ministry, and we are always looking for more.

Member churches and organizations can attend and vote on essential decisions in our annual meeting held every Spring. Find out how to get your church involved with Streets of Hope by emailing outreach@churchesforsoh.org
